Event Details

This 90-minute workshop is for anyone who lives in a house or apartment built before 1978, especially if they have children. Topics covered include:

  • What is lead poisoning
  • The dangers of lead poisoning including permanent brain damage
  • How to live safely with lead
  • Steps to take to help family members with asthma and allergies

The workshop is free and open to the public.

Under a grant from the EPA, provide free lead safe work practices training to Baltimore City property owners and residents.

1-hr and 2-hr overview training is available, and more formal 8-hr and 2-day EPA approved training is available.

Register here for individuals and small groups. Groups of 10 or more can host their own training sessions.
